Interview with Ms Florence Couzon, Research Engineer at CIRI:
Why did you need an automatic plater?

We have a lot of boxes to plate and using the easySpiral Pro saves us precious time and makes us more reproducible.

How has the easySpiral Pro changed the way you work?

Thanks to the easySpiral Pro we gain in repeatability and it makes counting colonies easier. It’s an easy-to-use device, which comes with a simple user manual.

Why did you choose Interscience?

We received a free demonstration of the equipment, which enabled us to see it in operation. In addition, a hospital laboratory we work with is also equipped with Interscience. Because it is a French company, sales and after-sales service are easier to access.

We did encounter a few difficulties with sample collection and spiral plating, which was out of alignment with the grid, but a technician was on hand to maintain the unit and change the filters.
